Excellent Day! We reached out to the poor and disabled with God’s love. Thank you Brothers Bob and Steve from Mt. View Bible Church, for leading us in praise and worship. Many were able to experience, even if just a glimmer, the glory of God through the music. Pastor Jon, also from Mt. View Bible, presented the gospel message utilizing his own life transformation as an example of God’s grace.

Volunteers helped give out many practical items: sleeping bags, socks, shoes, etc. More importantly, we offered the message of hope through Jesus Christ our Lord. Through His power, we go every quarter to Balboa Park to “share” and “show” the gospel message to those most in need.

May our God cause the transformation in many lives because of our obedience to share and demonstrate His enduring love for the poor and disabled.

The Lord willing, and through His power, we will reach out again in three months. Please pray for the many who heard the gospel message today and for those God will bring next time. Moreover, pray that wisdom and understanding guide the way as we follow-up with many who need ongoing support.

We have found that many men are not looking for just a hand-out, but are willing to work to meet their basic needs.
